„Sounds like a wonderful place, staff was helpful. BUT the stay was a disaster. Room had a funny smell, fan to vent was running but did not help, but we accepted it. In the middle of the night there was a extremely loud sound in the ceiling, some animal was digging in there, hitting the ceiling help for awhile but it came back, this went on for a very long time. Finally managed to get to bed around 4 o’clock, with ear plugs in a separate room. Complained next morning and was told there is no ...

„Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. „This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. „From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with this place, such a great feel, amazing view, and cool vibe. We wanted a base to explore Waitomo caves, comfortable and dog friendly, this ticked the boxes. Furnished comfortably, warm and clean. Only needed to bring our food and personal items, linen and towels were privided. If youre looking for a place to relax and step back from the bustle, this place is perfect“

„Bei diesem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig, der Ausblick von der Terrrasse und auch aus jedem Fenster ist wunderschön, das Studio ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Annette half bei allen Fragen und war sehr freundlich. Absolut Empfehlenswert !“

„We really enjoyed our 2 days here despite the cool weather. The kitchen was amazing and had lots of extras. The only negative is that there is no table although there is one folding one outside that can be used.“

„It was a perfect size for us as a couple. Very tidy and generally well equipped. We were happy to take our own linen and towels etc. The only thing we felt was missing was a hair dryer.“

„We really enjoyed our stay at the glasshouse - really spectacular views which we could just stare at for days. The pool, the cows in the front paddock, the orchard for walks, the setup were all great. Cass as the property manager was super responsive and kind to meet us at the property when we arrived.It's 20 min from town and the road is winding so don't want to do too late at night. “

"Das Motel lebt nur von den Tagestouristen die zu den Glow Worm Caves wollen. Einrichtung schon in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück wird nur optional angeboten und ist leider nicht empfehlenswert. Wird am Vortag nur in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Zimmer riechen alt und modrig. Im Schrank war noch Kleidung vom letzten Gast. Parkplatz war reichlich vorhanden. Warmwasser funktioniert nicht."
