„This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a ...

„Wonderful house in Twizel. Clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood. Bit far to walk to town center, but just a 2-3 minute drive. Only downside was they told us after making the reservation that there were no toiletries (e.g. shower wash & shampoo). Internet password was out of date but they were very responsive in providing updated info so not a big deal.“

„Lovely small holiday home on the edge of town. Super quiet area. Perfect for a couple or small family. Huuuuge fenced grassy area, for the dog to run around in safety, looking northwards down onto the Fraser river with gorgeous autumn colours. Really good woodburner and all mod cons, Wifi excellent, comfy bed, with lots of blankets and duvets, powerful shower with endless hot water. Second stay here in 6 months and will be back- endless outdoor things to do in the Twizel area. “

„Das Haus hat viel Charme, ist nett eingerichtet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Negativ war für uns, dass es drinnen muffig roch und klamm war; nachdem wir überall die Heizungen hochgedreht hatten, ging es einigermaßen. Momentan wird gegenüber gebaut, das heißt, dass sogar sonntags ab 7 Uhr mit Baulärm zu rechnen ist.“

„Exceeded expectations. Beautiful comfortable warm cosy private location. Well stocked with utensils for cooking. Hosts were very friendly including cats. No wifi was a bit challenging and it is a 10-15 min drive from Fairlie.“

„The house is full of character and was perfect for our overnight stay. John waa great to deal with from start to finish and we all highly recommend this house for your stay in Omarama.“

„Nice little house in a good location. Even though it's small, there's plenty of extra space for kids to play in the garage. Communication from the host was fantastic. Only marked it down a little as a few things were a little bit grubby.“

„House was perfect for our needs, well equipped, great shower and wonderful coffee machine with frother!! ASO nice and warm with just the heat pump on for a bit. Very well situated…we were able to walk into town along the beach walkway.Unsure if we will be back this way but if we are I would happily stay again. “

"Die Unterkunft ist zwar ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber ordentlich, sauber und groß. In der Küche war alles Notwenige vorhanden. Das Waschbecken mit den zwei Hähnen ist jedoch ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Im Bad könnte ein mehr Ablagefläche vorhanden sein. Von der Straße haben wir nicht viel Mitbekommen. Auch wenn das Motel ein wenig außerhalb von Lake Tekapo liegt, bietet es sich dennoch für Ausflüge an (nur ca. 17 Minuten Fahrt mit dem Auto). In der Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Im Bad könnte es mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten geben. Die Besitzer waren aber wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Draußen gibt es ein paar Tiere, es wirkt gemütlich und familiär. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und jederzeit ansprechbar."
