„My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. „Die erste Nacht nach unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka haben wir in der Villa Shade verbracht. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit offener Gartendusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber und der Eigentümer sehr bemüht. Die City von Negombo ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von der Villa Shade entfernt. Tuk Tuk und Taxi wurden organisiert, wenn erforderlich. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka.“

„Worst stay ever - DON'T GO THERE! The place is a mess. So dirty everywhere. On top of a cabin we found a thick layer of dust and a condom package, cables were hanging out of the walls, probably blood on a pillow (so disgusting) and the pool water was so dull that we wouldn't let our kids swim in it. "Wir haben hier unseren letzten Abend auf Sri Lanka verbracht. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und hat einen schönen Pool, den man auch abends noch nutzen kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls klass- die Speisen sind auf einem hohen Niveau- Preis Leistung stimmt hier einfach- Top war auch der kostenlose Flughafentransfer - einziges Manko: ein Moskitonetz fehlt hier- mein Verbesserungsvorschlag"

"Wir waren nur für eine Nacht vor dem Heimflug da; sehr freundlicher Empfang, trotz unserer frühen Abreise am Morgen wurde uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück serviert! Der Transfer zum Airport hat ebenfalls super funktioniert!"

"Das ist niemals ein 5 Sterne-Hotel. Das Hotel ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Uralte Holzfenster und Türen, im Bad starker Schimmelbefall und nicht funktionierende Rollos. Das Personal war jedoch super freundlich und hilfsbereit, was jedoch leider nicht über das total veraltete Hotel hinwegtäuschend konnte."
