„Nice property with beautiful and private surroundings. The eclectic decorations from all over the world make it feel like a museum. Jim was a helpful host and easy to get in contact with. We cooked most meals at the house. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds were comfortable.“

„This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. The beds were pretty comfy, there were plenty of towels. The firepit had one load of fire wood and that was it. I'd stay here ...

„Very clean place with outstanding, very nice owners. The cabin has all the amenities you need and more. Wifi is good and YouTube TV. The road up to it from Parsons is long and winding but worth it. With a little luck you'll see bears like we did, almost guaranteed to see deer. “

„Rest Assured cabin in Big Bear Resort was absolutely perfect! We love to mountain bike and the Chris Cowley trail was exactly 1 mile from the cabin. This magnificent trail ended on Camp 70 Road where many of the famous Davis trails start including Hoodoo and Moon Rocks. When we were not out mountain biking, we were enjoying many amenities of the resort including the recently renovated pool and 9 holes of mini golf. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. „Well equipped cozy cabin on a resort with plenty to keep the family busy. Free mini golf, pickleball court, and basketball. 10 minute access to Davis and Thomas. Wildlife refuge visitors center and Canaan state park 10 minutes in the other direction. Endless trail opportunities throughout. Simply everything you need right there. “

„Wonderful place. The location is ideal. Walking distance to both the nice little town of Thomas one way down a river path and water falls the other direction. Easy drive to Blackwater Falls and everything else this hiker's paradise has to offer. Would definitely come back here again. “
