„This home looks NOTHING like this picture. The paint was peeling and the windows had been painted shut for years. The inside was FILTHY dirty. The showers, the kitchen (tiny microwave and refrigerator) were all disgusting. We tried to call the manager whom we never got and we had to get to a library to get the internet to tell Vrbo about the mess. We had to find a place to stay after a 12-hr. drive and the food in our cooler was getting too warm. We never heard from the manager and Vrbo gave us ...

„ Peaceful, Perfect, and Even Better in Person!We had such a relaxing and memorable weekend at this beautiful lakeside cottage. It’s even prettier in person. Cozy, spotless, and stocked with essentials. The location was ideal for both adventure and downtime, and the price was just right!We kicked off our stay with a lovely evening at the nearby Stonecat Café with great food and live music in a relaxed setting. The next day, we hiked through Watkins Glen, enjoyed a laid-back lunch at The Oar ...

„Gorgeous condo literally right on the water. Walking distance to shops/restaurants. Perfectly lovely area as we drove around the entire lake and had breathtaking views of farms/wineries/the lake itself. No crowds, no traffic issues. We'll definitely be back!“

„This spacious cottage home has five bedrooms, four of which have room AC. Any kitchen utensil imaginable is provided. The shaded patio with a ceiling fan allows comfortable outdoor dining. The owner is responsive to any questions. We used the kayaks and canoe provided daily. We loved our 3 weeks on the lake!“

„Cabin is beautiful and in a perfect location very close to Watkins Glen and all the surrounding towns. Highly recommend for ease of access to surrounding falls and parks and couldn’t ask for a quieter place to relax when done with the sightseeing. “

„Our stay was even better than we were hoping for! The screened in porch lets you be right at the waters edge with no bugs, perfect shade and tranquility. The cabin has everything we needed (including reliable AC and tv if the kiddos insist on some screen time because they don’t know any better). The dock is inviting and safe (even for kids) has plenty of room for both relaxing and jumping in. The hosts make you feel like family, we would absolutely go back! “

„A beautiful stay in wine country! The moment we walked into the living room, our breath was taken away. It's a gorgeous view of the lake in a quiet neighborhood. The home is classy and spacious, and Shaun made sure we were comfortable during our stay. He is a responsive host, and we would love to stay again!“

„My boyfriend and I booked this place and couldn’t have been happier! The cabin was extremely cozy and clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway! The location was very close and convenient to many wineries and local hiking trails. We will absolutely be back again!“

"Overall a great stay in a very nice spacious up-to-date room. Really enjoyed it! Only minor complaint was a bit the cleanliness here and there like left hair in the bathroom. And I will never get used to paper tableware and plastic knifes at breakfast but that seems to be a very common thing. The breakfast area itself is very nice same as the food!"
