„It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. „8 college friends gathered at this property, a short drive to Sacandaga Lake. Large fully stocked kitchen, dining room seats 10, living room with fireplace and TV, plenty of sleeping space. Was easily able to communicate with owner and hope to return soon.“

„We stayed at this house because of its proximity to the main snowmobile trail in the area. We rode from there all day around the surrounding areas for lunch and dinner both days.“

„Very affordable, especially for a family. Beds not very comfortable and had to clean up a little ourselves, but didn't mind. (They bought new mattresses but left the plastic on them, very hot for sleeping) “

„We have been eyeballing this remtal for quite some time, never able to get the dates we wanted. This house is absolute beautiful and kept immaculate. We couldnt have asked for anything better. We will absolutely be back and we definitely recommend staying here if you are looking. “

„Overall was good and we enjoyed our family visit. We were disappointed with lake levels at this time of year so lake could not be accessed from the property. Recommend checking USGS lake data before traveling with any watercraft. House was nice. Knotty pine paneling and ceiling were a great look Kitchen area was fairly well equipped. „Was very please with the property it was in a small town right on the outside of town. Best part was having the Amish horse and buggies riding down the road each day. The hist was honestly amazing and accommodating. My best friend and her family live out side of fort plain NY, when I go up to visit this will be my go to house to rent. “

„The views and accommodations will have you coming back time and time again. It was so easy to check and speak to the host if we need to. You have everything you need here. The house was clean and secure. The hot water and water pressure were perfect for relaxing showers and the hot tub was also a great way to enjoy the incredible views. I can't wait to go back. „The cabin is cozy, clean, and wonderfully secluded, providing a peaceful retreat just a short drive from Cooperstown. Its convenient location puts you close to the Baseball Hall of Fame and a variety of local restaurants and attractions. Mark is an exceptional host—very accommodating and understanding when my original travel plans changed unexpectedly. He quickly offered a solution that made my trip to Cooperstown possible. Highly recommended for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!“

„We found the quiet and surrounding farm truly relaxing. Even though we drove sixty miles roundtrip each day, the drive was beautiful and relaxing. The only negative was the wifi being intermittent and the listed password was inaccurate. Overall, a good week.“

„We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!“

„House was in a nice area as we traveled to NY to attend a family wedding. Much better than renting hotel rooms. Would rent again if needed.“

„My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.“

„We loved the style of the house and really enjoyed how close it was to the lake and that we could drive the golf cart there. The only thing that we didn't love was the smell of the water and that we felt very close to the neighbors. Overall great experience.“

"Das Hotel war mittelmässig. Die Zimmer sehr klein. Beim online Einchecken wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches dann doch nicht verfügbar war. Die Frau am Empfang hat uns nicht wirklich begrüsst. Beim Frühstück waren wir alleine. Es war kein grosses Angebot aber ok. "

"Ein super schönes und sehr neues Motel. Endlich mal eins ohne den "alten dicken Teppich Wahnsinn". Zimmer richtig groß für 4 Erwachsene plus Sitzgelegenheit und schöne Küche. in direkter Nachbarschaft findet man einige Fast-Food Schuppen und sonstiges. Also wirklich gute Lage. Wir gingen zum Chipotle nebenan der sehr lecker war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist ein exzellentes Frühstück mit frisch zubereiteten Eier-Speisen aller Art. Das gibt es in dieser Kategorie sehr selten bis gar nicht, TOP."
