„A really cool experience to stay in a renovated barn so close to Colgate’s campus. It was a 4 minute drive but felt like a world away. Very quiet location with an impressive stream to walk to on the property. We loved our stay!“

„Very private area! It was me and my 2 dogs. Beautiful area to take walks. Had a nice shower and the porch was beautiful. The place was well stocked with necessities. “

„The cabin looked as if it has had some nice updates inside with laminate flooring, carpeting and paint as well as newer kitchen area. It was decorated very nicely and was clean and comfortable. However, it is still a cabin in the country and retains its rustic feel. We spent most of the time at All Star Village which was about a 30 minute drive through beautiful rolling countryside and charming villages. „Would recommend to anyone. Our family stayed here in 2014. Upgrades on furniture since then we're great. Beds were all comfort, which is huge for us since we used them all. Three generations of us enjoyed the property, house and that fantastic view. What was our family farm (1940’s) could be seen across the valley making it extra special. Thank you to our awesome hosts. Your place allowed us to gather together for a tough weekend.“

„The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.“

„attended the blue's festival was a great time. we were right across the street from it a short walk. the apartment was an old Victorian home with charm. there was a couple things that needed repair, the kitchen faucet came off and the floors were dirty. We were not in the apartment very much so it really wasn't a big deal“

„The house is wonderful! Everything works perfectly, nothing is broken, and everything is usable. The only thing I felt was missing was a blender, but besides that, the kitchen has all the utensils you could possibly need. The house is extremely cozy, very spacious, and really designed for those who want to spend quality time with family. The location is perfect — right in the middle of nature, with no neighbors around. We absolutely loved our stay and had so much fun!“

„This quaint and very comfortable Lakeside House is a fabulous retreat! The house is clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable.
