There are lovely hiking trails around the property (I believe about 4 miles of trails). The cabin is cozy and warm. „We had a nice stay, and enjoyed the property. We did several hikes plus some sightseeing-- including the Saranac Lake Bug Crawl.“

„There is nothing fancy about the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake. We had one small problem with the diverter not working in the shower in the morning but ...
