„If you want to be remote from the world and just enjoy being together in a simple but very well presented cabin then this is for you. We played cards, read books, loved the wood fire and cooked up some good food. The walking track out back was a bonus. While out walking I spotted some deer grazing in a nearby paddock. The spa pool option which we paid for surprised me. Arriving on a very cold afternoon to find that we had to spend two hours stoking the fire to warm the water was a surprise. I'm ...

„Hi we only had one night here sadly. I’m from Christchurch and was with Wellington family. We had never ventured here before and wow the view is unmatched. Our favourite moments were wandering the nearby track to the lighthouse at sunset and enjoying breakfast on the deck (which is right in the shore) as the sun streamed in. Owner was very helpful and was open to hearing our suggestions on some tweaks. Comfortable beds and couch with a well supplied kitchen.“

„Just go to single room was nice and tidy comfortable, but you had to fill the jug in the bathroom sink. Base channels on TV couldn’t cast my phone to the TV to watch Netflix or anything. Apart from that really nice and polite place was tidy and clean. I’d stay there again.“

„The house was exactly as described. The set up was very good, bedrooms had space and were comfortable.The living area was spacious.Appliances were adequate.The deck area was good.The weather was excellent in general.Two suggestions:-Firstly would be a heat pump for the house which could obviously be used for a/c when needed.The second is while the beach is very close the way down is quite difficult for an older person. “

„We had a lovely stay at Pat's bach! Very cosy and warm in the winter, lots of entertainment options (and a fabulous CD collection), and close to Levin for supply runs. We even managed to go swimming!“
