„Fabulous restored home in quaint Ponchatoula!! It was perfect for our group of 8 guests, and we appreciated the little touches like extra water and snacks. We loved the nice beds and comfy furniture in living room. The carport was nice as well, as it was raining when we arrived! The yard and corner lot we very well kept - and the neighborhood was easy to walk around. Great family reunion trip, and perfect stay!!“

„This property was very nice and accommodating. Our host did a great job of communicating and staying in touch with us. The only small problem (which ended up not being a problem at all for us), is that the property is ONLY accessible by boat. They do provide a small barge for you to burrow and they offer a “boat taxi” service. Overall the experience was great, just be prepared for a tiny boat ride across the canal.“

„22 person 4 night family reunion. 16 adults and children actually stayed at the home. Sleeping, meals, and entertaining were all easy to do in this beautiful place. The owner was attentive and easy to communicate with. “

The location was perfect for visiting Louisana....close to New Orleans and not to far from Baton Rouge... The beds and couch were extremely comfy and we loved coming home for the day and just hanging out playing pool and board games.... The host and staff were very nice and always available. „This was an amazing trip and stay. We enjoyed walking the grounds to discover hidden treasures in the gardens. Having the house and pool to ourselves was fantastic and a great way to relax and reconnect the family. There was an oven issue but Chris was on top of it and communicate well to accommodate me for it. Highly recommend!!“

„This beautiful house had everything and more! The beds were so comfortable both my cousin and I dreaded returning to our own beds in Texas and Colorado! We slept like 20 year olds. The entire house was immaculate, and the kitchen was stocked with better utensils and pottery than I own. I have 1 suggestion for coffee lovers -- you need at least 2 larger coffee cups for your coffee maker, lol. Thank you for providing such a long-awaited and needed restful vacation abode. "Wir waren eine Gruppe von 11 Leuten. Die Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich schön am Wasser gelegen, doch sehr ab von der City. Wir erkundigten uns vorher, ob es einen Bus gibt, der in die City fährt, was uns vor Ort mitgeteilt wurde, der Bus kostet 20$ p. P.! Des Weiteren waren die Betten soooo unsagbar weich, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Dann sind einige Hütten recht marode und die Löcher im Biden wurden nur mit PVC einfach zugemacht. Man sinkte trotzdem ein. Dann ist die „Rezeption“ nur bis 17 Uhr geöffnet, das wussten wir nicht! Das war Zufall, dass wir vor 17 Uhr ankamen. Das einige schöne war auch, dass man genügend Waschmaschinen und Trockner hatte (5 und 5)! Es gab auch noch ein Fischrestaurant, doch leider essen bei uns wenig Fisch (bis 21 Uhr geöffnet). "
