„The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. „A group of us was in town for a fishing tournament and the location was close enough to Pierre, SD. It would be a really good location if fishing Oahe. Lots of parking and good size house for all the guys. Clean and great communication from the host/owner. Had a gas grill with plenty of propane. I definitely would stay at this place again. “

„Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.“

„Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better location for a long weekend of fishing and relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and the sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and evening beverages after a long day on the water. Troy was a great communicator and was very responsive. We will definitely be back!“

I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. "Staff was not there on arrival and was not greeting us. We arrived at 7pm and our two rooms were not ready although check in was at 3pm. The choice at breakfast is only basic. Staff is unfriendly. "
