„The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside ...

„Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!“

„The house is really nice and offers plenty of space for a bigger group of people as it has a big living room with cosy fireplace, a really big and well equipped kitchen, a big table where you can gather to eat. Also really nice sleeping rooms with enough showers/toilets. The location of the house directly on the loch is priceless and the views are breathtaking… Scotland at its best, hope to come back soon!“

„Lovely property with nice indoor and outdoor areas including hot tub. Cottage is semi detached so you have others directly through the fence if both in the garden (may be useful to know if you are taking dogs that would bark at this). Host very helpful.The only issue we had was with the decoration package purchased for 49. We received a reusable neon sign outdoor and a few blown up balloons and a banner in the living room which we did not find worth the money paid but a nice touch for our friend ...

„The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!“

„We stayed in the jungle room. The room was upstairs we thought it was joined to hot tub area a quick walk through the stunning house to private garden area was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff could not do anymore to make our stay amazing. Make sure to bring cash for cocktails and honesty shop. Fire pit was lovely to sit at in the evening also.“

„Cute little house with everything that you need to have a good stay. Perfectly situated in the center of Callandar but still quiet.“

„The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent - close to the castle, close to the town center, close to the roads to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond etc. The communication with the owner was very friendly, helpful and quick. We really enjoyed our stay.“

"Guter Startpunkt,um Loch Lomond zu erkunden. Hotel direkt am Pub und somit die einzige Essensmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Besser reservieren. Essen war sehr gut.Hotelzimmer sind groß,etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Donnerstags und Sonntags live Musik. Ideal für wanderungen und eine Bootsfahrt über das Loch."

"Das Hotel Killin ist wunderbar und ruhig gelegen. Unser Zimmer war sehr gruosszügig und hatte sogar ein Hommelbett. Leider War das Wetter etwas kühl und gegen abend leich nass, aber das tolle Essen und die Atmosphäre in der Bar haben das vergessen gemacht. Wir sind zwar ohne Tiere gereist, das Hotel Killin ist aber sehr tierfreundlich, was offenbar vielen Hundehaltern bekannt ist."
