„The Barge Inn is a cute 2 bdrm, 1 bath house (the shower pressure is great) that is immaculately clean, with a huge wall of glass with doors leading onto the large deck. The lake view is spectacular! Everything you need besides your clothing & food is there for you. Lots of wildlife along the road to get there. We had a wonderful time. And communicating with Vince & Pat is so easy.“

I filtered for a waterfront property and this one is up the hill from the lake, not on the water..but it was a nice, short stroll to the water every evening with our toddler so not a big deal for us. Caught a few fish, and made great memories in my home state. Would book again to visit Benton, or just to enjoy a few KY lake days and Belews (restaurant).“

„We stayed five great nights in late April. The front porch took center stage for us with a magnificent view of the lake. From morning coffee, watching a storm pass over and evening stars. Lots of songbirds!!!The house is great with over the top amenities! We loved the fire pit and furnished firewood. Our host was terrific. Great pre, during and after stay communication. Provided great information on the local area. Highly recommend you stay here!“

„Great cabin. My boys and I had a good time fishing, using the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Denise was very quick to respond with any needs. “

„This place was great! We were up in that area for a long weekend to check out Waterfalls. It was 15 min drive to Pictured Rocks. Was in a private area and was very well kept up. The mosquitos were intense when we first got there guessing because l you are right off of the au train river. However, we had brought thermacells so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the deck area. Highly recommend. “

They also had an impressive variety of board games perfect for a family game night. We loved the area and it’s a convenient spot for great mom and pop restaurants as well as playgrounds and parks for the little ones. We will be back!“

„we had a very nice time at this lovely home. we enjoyed every minute of our stay and had a lot of fun trying out the Kajaks. The cosy fireplace made every evening magical. we definitly recommend renting this home for a few relaxing days at the Lake.“
