„We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!“

„I was very impressed with this "hotel". It is more of an AirBB as your unit is an apartment in an apartment building with permant residents. It comes nicely furnished, including basic kitchen essentials (like service for four, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc). All of the amenities are modern, and the in-unit washer dryer is a huge plus. Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and easy to follow. Overall, it was the perfect spot for our trip — highly recommend!“

„Property was almost ad advertised, with the exception of the parking space. When we arrived, we moved a rope partition in front ot the property to park and unload. The owner of the adjacent unit prompt;y came out to tell us that this was his spot that he ernted out and that we could not stay there. There were already two cars in the back, one without plates. Needed to speak with owner to clarify. After this the parking situation was OK. Property was neat and clean. Could have used more towels ...

„This property is a wonderful alternative to the expensive hotels around Greenwich. It was no frills - there are two bedrooms with large beds and TVs, a bathroom, and kitchenette with a pod coffeemaker. We didn't spend a lot of time there, which worked for us. It's quiet, backcountry Greenwich, on a pond. We saw a fox and a baby deer and fell asleep to the bullfrogs. “

„We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. It was a cold and rainy evening. We were giving up when Katherine contacted us and helped direct us to ...

„The photos definitely misrepresent the quality of the property. The house is very dirty (lots of stains) and a little on the creepier side. However, if you have a good group of friends who can have fun anywhere, you’ll enjoy the rental.“

„We were able to spend a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with my son and his wife in New York. My family came with me for their first visit to New York. The house was comfortable and spacious. It allowed all of us to play, read, relax and be together as a family. “

„Conveniently located, quiet, comfortable beds, designated free parking, full kitchen, and always felt safe. We all enjoyed watching the marmot out our bedroom window! (Currently there is construction on the house next door, so the view out the dining area isn't great.) Was disappointed there were only 4 pods for the Keurig for 4 people for 3 mornings. (Coffee in the morning is important to us.) Responses from owner were on occasion slow. Overall it was a very nice stay!“

"Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel. Even though the location is outside of Manhattan, the metropolis can be reached within 30 minutes by train. The friendliness of the staff deserves special mention. The breakfast is typically American. Wholemeal rolls or wholemeal bread, cheese and sausage were missing, which is standard in Europe. A small addition would be recommended here. A clear advantage is the shopping mall around the hotel. Food such as water, sweets etc. can be bought in the nearby supermarket. Compared to Manhattan, the quiet location is simply fantastic for unwinding after an exciting day in big apple. I am simply happy to be able to stay in this hotel. Gladly again :-)"

"Saubere einfache Zimmer, Ruhige Lage, Fairer Preis für die Region, Frühstück auch ok. Wir hatten unseren Rucksack im Zimmer vergessen. Obwohl die Reinigung des Zimmers begonnen hatte und das Reinigungspersonal bemerkt hatte, dass wir den Rucksack vergessen hatten, wurden wir nicht informiert. Uns ist es Gott sei Dank ca. 15 Minuten nach Verlassen des Hotels selbst aufgefallen. Schade, dass hier der Kundenservice sehr enttäuschend war."
