„Our family went for a Father’s Day weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin and the Brazos House Retreat property. We had such an enjoyable visit that we decided to make this an annual event. The view is stunning, that swings were fantastic, and we made good use of the fire pit and the wood provided. “

„We really liked this place. House is so cute and cozy. Very well stocked and user friendly. She thought of everything! The yard is pretty and peaceful. dock is big and right there close.This hostess was great! Gave a lot of good info and always answered questions quickly. The only bad thing is it’s three bedrooms but both baths are inside bedrooms. Would be better if it had a half bath somewhere.“

The pool was a big hit with everyone, and having the kayaks available added an extra layer of fun and adventure. The amenities were spot on—everything we needed was right there, which made our stay so easy and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to everything yet peaceful and private. We would definitely love to return. Highly recommend!“

„We had my husband’s 50th surprised birthday party there! We had no idea that there was a home for renting in Lakeside. When we go out fishing or just for sport, we have mostly used the Steal Creek Park boat ramp. The only road into and out of the park, is the same road that this beautiful property is located. We had a great and wonderful time!“

„Cozy and comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood (peaceful & relaxing) Fishing okay, if you like catfish. Only caught one small white bass. We were hoping for perch for the grandchildren but didn’t have any luck. Watching the geese and their babies was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here.“

„His rental was perfect for our family gathering. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen was larger than it looks on pictures. Theater room and game room were a hit. The pool was wonderful with ample outdoor gathering space. Hosts were wonderful to text, communicate with. A great weekend for our family that came from all over the state.“
