„It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.“

„The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and in super condition, the bedrooms are great so everyone can enjoy some quiet time and privacy. Loads of beach gear provided, games as well. Location convenient to get to beach, shopping, mainland bridge, boat trips and eating out. Very much enjoyed the evening sun sitting on the swing on the front porch.“

„Es ist herrlich gelegen absolut ruhig bis auf die Grillen und Vögel. Die Küche ist etwas zu klein aber es ist fast alles machbar. Die Einrichtung ist schön aber hier und da könnte mal was ausgetauscht werden oder alte Sachen aus den Schränken entsorgt werden. Die Ansprüche an Sauberkeit sollten nicht zu hoch sein in so einer Waldhütte aber ab und an dürften alle Möbel mal weggerückt werden und eine Grundreinigung gemacht werden. Uns hat es trotzdem gefallen vor allem auch der Billardtisch. ...

„We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!“

Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. "Zimmer war sauber. Leider kam in der Dusche kein Wasser, was bei Temperaturen an die 40 Grad ungünstig ist. Hinweis auf die nicht funktionierende Dusche wurde beim auschecken zur Kenntnis genommen, sonst kam leider keine Reaktion."
