„The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive.“

„The cottages are adorable and comfortable. Great view. The staff was great, helpful, friendly. We had a wonderful time and will go back and recommend to friends. The only downside is that you cannot park at any of the cottages, so you have to park at main lobby and get a cart to tow all your stuff to your place. for anyone with a disability or walking issues, that could be problematic unless they will provide assistance, and I think that might be possible. Maneuvering the cart along the deck ...

„Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive.“

Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge.“

„The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and in super condition, the bedrooms are great so everyone can enjoy some quiet time and privacy. Loads of beach gear provided, games as well. Location convenient to get to beach, shopping, mainland bridge, boat trips and eating out. Very much enjoyed the evening sun sitting on the swing on the front porch.“

„The location of this property was perfect. Though it was nestled near neighbors, it was quiet and felt private. We were able to ride our bikes into town easily and didn’t have to drive during our stay. Great accommodation for a low-hassle trip. We brought our own bedding and towels.“

I love older homes, and this one has been very well maintained.Although I did not cook in the kitchen, it was well supplied with everything one might need. „I was a little surprised by the condo. It is an older property, but well-kept. The slider for the front door took me by surprise, and everything was fine once I figured out the key box in the dark. Next time, I need to remember to bring shampoo. It wasn't super clear what parking was on the property. Again, it was dark, and I found a spot that worked great. The place was perfect for a single guy wanting to explore the Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge. “

„The Brass Crab is a fantastic house for a family vacation. While not overly large, it comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 young children. The kitchen was appropriately stocked and there were plenty of baby items so you don’t have to pack your own. The house was extremely clean. While we didn’t use the backyard, it is a nice large flat yard to play outside. The host was very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area. Definitely recommended. “

"Zimmer war sauber. Leider kam in der Dusche kein Wasser, was bei Temperaturen an die 40 Grad ungünstig ist. Hinweis auf die nicht funktionierende Dusche wurde beim auschecken zur Kenntnis genommen, sonst kam leider keine Reaktion."
