„I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.“

„Das Haus war sehr dunkel (keine Straßenbeleuchtung, aber auch keine Nachtlichter). Wir hatten also entweder die Möglichkeit, bei hellem Deckenlicht zu schlafen oder im stockdunklen. Unsere Kinder hatten dabei Angst und deswegen haben wir Nachtlichter gekauft. Unheimlich fanden sie auch die sehr düsteren unheimlich Bilder im Keller. „The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. “

„Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. “
