„UPON ARRIVAL YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. SO I TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. BACKED TRACKED AND LOOKED ELSEWHERE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF GOING DOWN OTHER ROADS, I WENT BACK AND WENT BACK TO PRIVATE RD AND WENT PASSED SIGN. THEN I SEEN ANOTHER SIGN WITH THE ADDRESS AND IT WAS NOT VERY BIG. COULD NOT SEE IT FROM THE SIGN THAT SAID PRIVATE. NORMALY WHEN YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. YOU DON'T GO PAST IT. I SUGGEST A SIGN THAT SAYS HICKORY HIDEOUT.“

„We had an incredible stay at this cabin. The cabin was immaculately clean, beautifully built, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. After a long day on the trails, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax. The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Trail 3 at Wolf Pen Gap. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and convenience while exploring the trails!“

„Cute little cottage, nestled in the pine woods. Had farm fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival for the next mornings breakfast. Cute little goat nearby that my wife decided to rename "Elmer" he really was adorable. Not to be concerned, never heard him, he was just cute. Reason for the trip was to see some family. Was really a great experience. “

„Beautiful veiw ,great room, beds were amazing. Only one thing that i saw it could do with was skid prevention on bottom of tub. It was real slick and there where no grab bars. Thats it everything else was great. The staff was amazing. Would highly recommend. “

„We enjoyed the isolation of the cabin and the views were spectacular!! It was nice to sit on the deck with our dogs and watch the sun set at night.“

„We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Pioneer. The Cabins were clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were close and clean. The back deck looking out over the mountain made the perfect place for us to hold worship services and Bible study. Matt was GREAT to work with and prompt on every need.“
