„Our family stayed two nights while visiting Bristol for the NHRA races and found the location peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, but we ate out for our meals. The property does have WiFi and streaming services which was nice. The deck and screened in porch is lovely as well. The house is older but well maintained. “

„Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year“

„Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.“

„This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax.“

„The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! “

„We had an amazing stay! When we walked in, the house was spotless and so inviting, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our host was the definition of hospitality, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved hiking The Channels and attending the MLB Speedway Classic, even though the game got rained out the first time. A special thanks for the delicious chocolate cake and the thoughtful Bristol Motor Speedway bag. We can’t wait to come back!“

„This was our first Vrbo experience. We stayed 8 nights. The location off of I-81 was perfect. Check in was super easy. The code to the door arrived two days before our trip. I gave 5 stars to communication with the host, but I gave 5 stars because I didn't have a need to communicate with him. Some minor repairs are needed, but other guests mentioned them so I did not feel I had to communicate them as well. I actually prefer the no contact check in because my dog does not care for ...

„This home is more than you could ever expect. Not only is it feet from the Watauga River, it is immaculate inside and out. Everything you could possibly need is thoughtfully provided. We loved sitting on the front porch at night listening to the river. You truly feel welcome and at home in this property. We will definitely be returning soon.“

„The house was beautiful. Only think you need are toiletries, food and the rest is provided. Just spending time on porch watching the river go by was so relaxing.My daughter loved the hammock, and took a nap in it. Really enjoyed the stay and planning on booking again “
