„Wonderful cabin. Well kept/clean, everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Secluded, perfect place to stay with our very vocal miniature schnauzer. There was nobody around for him to annoy with his barks of excitement! Saw lots of deer including a mama and her twins and one turkey. Enjoyed popcorn and listening to the records. „The house on the lake is very well situate with direct access to the Matanzas lake. The property is conveniently built on one level, and has great amenities to enjoy a lake getaway vacation. „We stayed for our Mendota FFA Chapter Officer Retreat. It was very accommodating for our group of nine high school students and two adult chaperones. The house itself is a bit chopped up, but has a lot of charm and many unique decor elements. The bar/kitchen was very unique. We utilized both outdoor grill and firepit area to prepare evening meals. The pool table in the basement was a big hit with the boys. Air fresheners were a little overpowering. “
