„Vivotel exceeded our expectations. The place is really modern once you enter and very well maintained, it is designed very well, the decor was very warm and welcoming with several seating area and even a little lounge space in the back. "Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sie aktualisieren immer wieder. Jetzt gibt es schnelleres Internet und die Matratzen werden ausgetauscht. Was mir aber gar nicht gefällt: man kann zwar seinen Hund mitbringen, allerdings kassieren sie für den 55 US$ zusätzlich. Die Hälfte müsste es sein!"

"Das Hotel ist schön und luxuriös, für mich als Raucher aber völlig ungeeignet: Es hat weder Balkone, noch sonst einen angenehmen Platz, wo man rauchen kann. Man muss also vor die Tür gehen und dort rauchen, was überhaupt nicht luxuriös ist. Für mich ist das Hotel Barceló das beste Hotel in Guatemala."
