„The property was beautiful with a great pool and dock. All ages (84 yrs to 7 months old) enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Playing pool, or sitting out on the covered deck playing games and music. Location was convenient to restaurants and grocery store.“

„Overall the property was very nice. It was great for a group with adults and teenage kids as there were two masters on the first floor and a hang out space downstairs for the kids. The location and dock for a boat as well as trampoline and second floor dock for jumping were enjoyed by all. Our only issues had to do with the cleanliness not being the best and the lack of some basics like more than one trash bag. „The cottage was cute and quaint. It was exactly as described. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. All towels, linens and paper products were included. Definitely recommend. “

„We had an amazing stay here, it was close to everything and all the amenities were right there! It was a little rainy and chilly our first day but we were still able to enjoy the pool! Awesome location, super clean and organized condo, and makes it easy to enjoy your vacation with a boat ramp and pool! We also had two kids (3&5) and they had a blast!!!“

„Such a beautiful log cabin inside and out with plenty of room! Just like home away from home with all you’d need. Love that all the BRs have a full BA and enjoyed the large screen TVs. The only thing I’d mention is that the path to the lake is very long and steep with “free form wooden planks”, no handrails, and not easy to navigate for those with any mobility issues. “

„We had a wonderful week at Whispering Pines Estate with our family of 23! The pool was welcomed with the heat and humidity! We loved the covered porch to read and relax out of the sun! We enjoyed the large table to eat dinner together and viewing the wildlife in the evening. We had an awesome week and are looking forward to returning next year!“

„Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. “

„In town for the national mountain bike championships in downtown and Explore Park. Exceptionally clean and bright, well-appointed kitchen, great place to relax after training and races. Great communication. “

„The house was beautiful! There were 10 of us and everyone slept comfortably. The living areas were very spacious and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch as we sat in rocking chairs and listened to the rain each afternoon. We spent a fair amount of time cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The walking path down to the water was perfect as we had several members in our group that struggle with stairs.
