„My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. “

„Wonderful stay! Host was VERY communicative and attentive! The home was very clean and nice, and stocked very well for visitors! There was plenty of space and activities for our family/friend group of 11 and 2 dogs! The only thing we think could improve would be a coat of paint, and fixing the fence gaps, considering it was a pet friendly option. Overall better than expected and perfect for what we needed! Highly suggest! “

„This place was a fantastic little escape to the country for my family and our friends. The space was open and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. I will say we had to take some extra measures for our two year old to be as least destructive as possible, but then again, is there really any space safe from a chaotic two year old? Regardless, wonderful experience! “

„We really enjoyed this beautiful home. 5 adults & 2 dogs, in town for a wedding on 8/1. We brought crates for our dogs & set them side by side in the parlor, so when we were at family functions the dogs & the VRBO were safe. The owners had fully stocked bathrooms with lotion shampoo/conditioner, stocked kitchen, a super nice Brita ( I went and bought the same model the we left! Everything you would need or want. I live in a 1926 era house in Illinois, so our family loved this spacious & ...

„It wasn't particularly clean. No key required to enter from parking lot, which wreaked of pot. No in-room coffee maker. Dirty ironing board pad. Limited TV remote functions.“

„A group of friends stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed the house. We were especially impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with usable kitchen supplies.“

„People were dealing/smoking drugs outside or just sitting in their cars. Also I had to put out a cigarette but fire outside the hotel. When trying to find water to put out said fire all ice machines and water fountains were not functioning. Otherwise it was clean, great front desk service and awesome location.“

„Do not recommend if you are staying multiple days. We did not get the room we reserved because they gave it to someone else. We were only given 3 towels for 4 people for 4 days. When we asked for more towels they gave us 2 more and that is all we could get, then went and complained they said we could only get more towels if we brought them down all the dirty towels. Once i did this. We again only got 2 more towels again for 4 people. Could not get anyone to clean the roomWould not even give us ...

„We loved our stay at this great home. The fishing off the dock was wonderful. We enjoyed our family reunion at this location. „Fabulous property and it had everything someone could possibly need. Host was helpful and responsive. Perfect spot for a large family get together with so many outdoor activities and indoor fun with the game room. If I could give this 10 stars, I honestly would. If you’re thinking about it, just book it!“

„We had a wonderful fun filled week at your vrbo. We also rented the pontoon which we were able to use everyday. Really enjoyed taking sunset rides in it. Very nice lake. Plenty of room for our family of 12. Would definitely go back again. “
