„The place was very clean and quiet, close to great restaurants and only 20 minutes to St. Jacob’s. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was just as described. We would warn anyone who is tall that the parts of the ceiling in this basement apartment are low enough to bump your head if you are not careful. The television didn’t work, though our host tried to get it working after we reported the problem. But really, apart from the tv and bumping my head once, it was a great place to stay.“

„Great place to stay. Only a couple minor things. 1 the parking spaces were not measured when they made them. So if you get in assigned certain spots and drive an SUV or equivalent you may not fit, just park in visitor parking if thats the case. The only other thing was there was 2 pans for cooking but no pots or skillets to use on the stove top. We didnt need them but those are my suggestions to elevate the space a little more.“

On the downside, the stairs were narrow, the beds were not very comfortable, and there was only one full bath so for morning shower with 6 of us, it took a long time. „The place was clearly cheaply built, and the people living upstairs (owner?) Were tromping around until last more than once and there is clearly no soundproofing out in. Also handyman came to caulk the kitchen backsplash during our visit which was just weird. Also, there is no control for the temperature in the unit so you're at the mercy of whatever the main for decides they want the temp to be up there which is clearly different than the basement. “
