After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. „This was a wonderful stay! The home was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the shower pressure was perfect! We enjoyed some time on the deck, but we didn’t need to use the fire pit (the weather was nice). It was a short drive to restaurants. The owners responded quickly to our questions (simple things like streaming passcodes). We would love to come back when we are in Shreveport. Exceeded our expectations!“

„I rented out the house for the Thanksgiving holiday, it was enough room for me and my family. The host of the home was very welcoming and even checked in daily to see how our stay was going and if we needed anything during our stay. The best of the house for me was the fire pit in the backyard. It is great for just sitting out and bonding with family. Overall this was a very nice house, pictures doesn't do it any justice. Also the home is located in a nice neighborhood as well.“

„The overall experience from getting the property rented to the day that we left was exceptional! We were allowed to check in early on the Thursday, thanks to the amazing owners, and truly enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and cozy making it feel like our "home away from home". "Als erstes entsprach weder der Innen- noch der Aussenbereich den Bildern von der Homepage. Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber, Boden klebte u.a. Es hatte weder genügend Frottewäsche, WC Papier oder Duschseife (Dispenser war vorhanden aber nicht aufgefüllt. Die gelobten luxuriösen Matratzen waren durchgelegen und die Leintücher verschliessen und fleckig. Das Frühstück war auch für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr schlecht und lieblos. Das Personal eher gelangweilt. Diesem Hotel fehlt eine gute Führung und die Liebe zum Detail. Ein paar alte Möbel machen noch lange kein Boutiquehotel!!! Der einzige Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Lage."

"Das Hotel ist aus den 1850er Jahren und insbesondere das Entre sowie die allgemein zugänglichen Räume im Untergeschoss noch wie früher eingerichtet und sehr schön. Leider gibt es Abstriche bei der Sauberkeit rund um das Gebäude und in den Zimmern. Insbesondere sollte man nicht unter das Bett schauen. Das Frühstück ist kein Highlight... "
