„This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. “

„This was a great few days for my family and I celebrating a VT graduation. Beautiful home, and a really cool location. The town has an awesome shop with a cafe super close. The host was attentive and friendly. Would recommend!“

Drive was convenient to local destinations - just be careful on narrow and winding roads. Lots of entertainment options at the property - - pool table, ping pong and video games. „We were traveling into the area to attend the Virginia Tech commencement ceremonies. This was a fantastic find. Close enough to attend the events, but far enough to avoid the congestion in Blacksburg during this busy time of the year. When our usual dog sitter was unavailable, this allowed us to bring them along with us and they settled right in as well. We loved everything about the location and would highly recommend it to anyone considering traveling to the area. “

„Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! „The views from this home are stunning. We were in town for a week visiting our daughter who attends Radford University. The house is just about 30 minutes drive from the college as they are windy mountain roads but so worth the drive! The sunsets were amazing on the lake and it was relaxing and peaceful. The house is comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed with pots/ pans and dishes. It was a wonderful week!“

„My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely.“

„Milda and Brandey did everything to make our stay blissful in this private, enchanted space. As Brandey predicted, the daffodils had started to bloom, which made for a beautiful backdrop along with the ponds. We had a small group for a ceremony and a buffet, eat-from-your-lap style dinner. „We highly recommend booking a stay. The cottage was extremely welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing the provided games. The bathhouse wasn’t a far walk and was very clean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Pet friendly as well, loved bringing my dog!“
