„A lot of space in the living area. Great to spend time as a group/family. Well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms, but one of them does not have a door towards the living area. Nice seating area outside. Not the best of views, but quiet, comfortable and new furniture set. Overall the hosts made us feel welcome and were very concerned about providing us with a pleasant experience - and we certainly enjoyed it. I can recommend it.“

„What a stunning space! We loved and admired the DIY aspects of it all. The fire stove was so warm and cozy and the owners checked on us to make sure we were able to use it. We bought lots of yummy fresh made jam from the shack right across the way. Lots of activities left for us to do within the cabin and outside of it. Overall magical!!!“

„Dieses kleine Juwel befindet sich unweit von Forks am idyllischen Sol Duc River, welcher direkt vom Grundstück aus in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen ist. Bei meinem dreitägigen Aufenthalt mit zwei Kindern (8 & 4 Jahre) wussten wir insbesondere die Nähe zum Hoh Rainforest (< 1 Fahrstunde), den Pazifikstränden rund um La Push (< 30 Fahrtminuten) und Forks (5 Fahrtminuten) zu schätzen. Die Hütte ist sehr gut ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche ließ keine Wünsche übrig. Auch ein supermoderner ...

„We loved having access to a washer, dryer, and coffee. Communication with the host was excellent. The property is quiet. The kitchen equipment is very basic. Don't expect to be able to do any cooking that requires measuring. The beds, floors, sinks, and tub were nice and clean. But the property needs a deep detail clean as there was dust and grime build up in corners, on baseboards, vents, and other places that made it seem dirty. “

„I spent the day hiking in Olympic National Park. The lodge was a welcome confort at the end of the day. They upgraded my stay due to the rustic cabin i rented originally not being ready for the season. The upgrade was amazing. I would definitely stay again.“

„Our stay was as expected. Cute lodge, clean facilities. Cell reception is sketchy, so if you are in need of that, that could be a issue. Location is great, we were able to go to several beaches without having to drive too far. About 10-15 to each location. “

"Vorsicht bei Buchung einer Basic-Ferienhütte!! Hotels.com weist nicht darauf hin, dass es nur Kaltwasser gibt und bietet Dusche an, die nicht vorhanden ist. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir ein kostenloses Upgrade in ein Hotelzimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Danke dafür an das Frontdesk. Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Anlage direkt am Naturstrand mit bewaldeten Haystocks in unmittelbarer Sichtweite. Abends konnten wir einen sehr schönen Sonnenuntergang im Pazifik beobachten. "

Eine einfache, aber sehr gute Unterkunft

"Das Hotel liegt am Ortsausgang von Forks. Die Lage ist deswegen so gut, weil direkt neben dem Hotel ein Café liegt und gegenüber ein Supermarkt, daher sind beide fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel wirkt schon etwas abgewohnt, bietet aber den nötigen Komfort um auch mehrere Tage dort zu verbringen. Der Service ist einfach, Zimmerservice gibt es nur auf Anfrage. An der Rezeption ging es schnell und unkompliziert. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig, auch wenn es direkt neben der Eismaschine war. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden."
