The privacy walls on both ends of the deck made for a very private stay even though there are three cottages on the property. We loved the solitude and quietness of the area. „Visited with my sisters. We tend to play Dominos much of the time, and the table and chairs were great for this. Nice outdoor area and sun room. Very convenient and comfortable overall. We "older generation" folks missed having "regular TV channels with news and ball games for example, but this wasn't a big issue. Host replied quickly to questions. Great stay, lovely accomodation.“

„Sehr großes Zimmer mit noblen, alten Möbeln. Große Küchenecke mit Herd, kleine Spülmaschine, Spülstein, große Kühl-Gefrier-Kombination, viel Geschirr. Bad ist eine Einbaukabine, Badewanne mit stylischem Rahmen. Viel Email-Verkehr wegen Einchecken und Parken (es gibt keine Rezeption), klingt alles kompliziert, letzten Ende ging es aber problemlos.“

„Can’t ask for much more than a comfy porch and hot tub at the end of a long day. We thoroughly enjoyed the back yard and the kitchen - all cupboards were labeled. We were two senior couples - 70 to 80. If anyone has mobility issues they need to sleep in the main floor bedroom and use that bathroom. „We had the most amazing stay at Breakwater! We enjoyed breathtaking views, watching the sun rise over the bay every morning, and relaxing in the hot tub by night! This home was stocked with every conceivable necessity, making our stay stress-free. Karen was the perfect host, responding quickly to our inquiries and even supplying little welcome gifts and day trip recommendations! „Les photos ne représente pas le logement. Le logement semble être moins bien entretenu que sur les photos. Accès peut pratique à la porte de la chambre par l’extérieur. Par contre c’est très facile de discuter avec le propriétaire.“

„Very comfortable and large house. Loved the family room with a large screen TV, a large couch, and great views of the water! Air conditioning was outstanding in every room in case you are there on a warm day. Easy drive into St John's (12 to 15 minutes) and to grocery stores. Note there is an apartment in the basement. Didn't bother us at all. Overall, a Great house!“

„Wonderful quiet location on the peninsula with gas stove, bbq, and a fire pit. Comfortable beds and a short walk to Crystal beach although the owner has a parking pass if you wish to drive. Directly across from the Westfield ferry is a coffee shop with Java Moose coffee. Wifi is top notch with generally us using 2 laptops plus cell phones.“

„We booked this basement apartment for one night while we were passing through New Brunswick. It was exactly what we needed, a clean cozy place to stay on our travels. Good neighbourhood and the host was nice as well. I would recommend this place to stay if you are just passing through! “
