Burana Tower is one of the last remaining monuments at the ancient Silk Road city of Balasagun, located nearby the modern city of Tokmok in the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan). The tower site also features a small museum, an open-air museum with a collection of petroglyphs and “balbals” (akin to grave markers), and the hill that once was the royal palace. The views toward the mountains are spectacular on a clear day.

„I have enjoyed the stay in Ludmilla’s apartment a lot. She is amazingly responsive, flexible and very helpful. Made our stay much easier, eventhough the airline didn’t deliver our bikes directly.
