High Bridge Trail is nearby, Three Rivers Brewery in Farmville. Nice selection of local houses of worship in the area. Would definitely recommend“

„Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home that takes you to a different era. A simpler time. The history . Since 1911 she has sheltered people. If only her walls could talk. Absolutely a wonderful memory I will not forget. Don't hesitate. Everyone should experience this home. 5 stars!“

„Absolutely wonderful stay. Just right for 2 ….. walked along the river (didn’t have time for the kayaks I’m afraid…). Sat out side under the patio in the back…. super quiet. Ran the quiet country road in the morning. Very comprehensive kitchen set up….hot showers and the best towels ever. Not bougie….very homey. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.“

„Had a beautiful and restful few days at "The Cottage." The full property is very private and the salt water pool made it feel like an oasis. There were lots of pool rafts to use which made the pool even better. The full property is very well maintained and the cottage was very clean, nicely decorated, and cozy. Has everything you need for grilling and chilling but also some fun on site activites. Wonderful stay and many thanks to our hosts and their cool dogs! The host Brian was very friendly ...
