„Das Hotel hat einen schönen Eingangsbereich und sehr nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer hat müffelig gerochen und es hatte viele Flecken im Teppich. Ansonsten war es sauber.“

„Es hat uns super gut gefallen. Waren zu zweit und hatten ein appartement. Es war alles super sauber. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man so braucht, auch eine Grundausstattung an Salz, Pfeffer, Kaffee usw. Das Bett war bequem und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Direkt gegenüber war der Pool und der Hot tub. Direkter Zugang zum Meer. Es war wirklich ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank “

„We had a wonderful 3 Day Stay in Hummingbird Cottage!! Everything was perfekt, clean, cosy! We really felt like home and did not go out at the evenings but stayed there and enjoyed the place. Also we had a warm and nice contact with our host Karen! She made us feel really welcome! I can recomend this place 100 %, and if we come back we stay there for sure again!! “

The neighborhood is a bit older, but once inside rooms are very clean, some of the furniture was a bit dated, but comfortable. „Second time staying in this unit, love it. Decently equipped with everything you need. Could use a nice deep spring cleaning but in all honesty it’s not filthy and for the price everything is incredible. Don’t see it available for next summer which is sad. “

„It’s a super location for exploring much of the island. Lively to have 2 separate bedrooms. Inside is like visiting your own gallery. Inspiring for artists for sure! Once the park across the way closes the area gets quiet and the beds are quiet comfy.“

„It was a good experience. Some minor details would’ve made the experience 5 stars. For instance, arriving at the property at 4 pm there was a guy cutting the lawn. So That was a bit annoying. I wished the desk of the house including the table and chairs were cleaned. I understand there are made for the outdoors but you would see if they were recently cleaned which was not the case! „Chinook Cottage was cute and functional with enough space for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture was getting a bit tired in the living area and the kitchen could use a bit of a deep clean. Due to the warmer temperatures the sunroom was not useable so we were lacking any sort of “outdoor” space. We didn’t actually meet the hosts so can’t comment on them although Melanie was very timely with her responses. The location is a bit out of the main area of Campbell River but ...

„At first we were a little surprised, but it turned out to be what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the sheets smelled like old fashioned hang dried which was amazing. Wifi was a little weak but we didn’t need it to work, it was nice to unplug for a few days. The recommended Italian restaurant cuckoo in coomes was spectacular was like we were in Italy. Highly recommended“

Wenig ist nötig und das Hotel wäre toll!

"Das Hotel hat Potenzial. Es scheint aber seine besten Zeiten hinter sich zu haben. Es braucht nicht viel, und der Glanz wäre wieder da. Verbessern müsste man die Rezeption (optisch und personell). Der erste Eindruck ist eben schon entscheidend! Auch der Service in der Bar/im Restaurant war nur mässig… schade, das Essen war nämlich sehr lecker! Hervorheben möchte ich die Gartenanlage. Die war in einem top Zustand! Auch die Lage des Hotels ist toll! "
