„This was our third trip to this very inviting cabin in the woods. The cabin itself is clean and fully stocked with your basic necessities. The hike down and up from the river isn’t for the faint of heart but so worth it. The river is peaceful and in the three years we’ve been coming we’ve seen two people kayaking down the river. „The cabin lived up to all off our expectations. Check in was easy and the hosts went above and beyond what is required of them. Our car blew a coolant hose on the way to the cabin and was in the shop in Stockton until 3pm on our departure day. They graciously let us hang out until it was ready. They helped in too many ways to describe. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We saw no mouse droppings as written in previous reviews. The cabin is tucked away on a backroad, which I enjoyed because it was quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the fenced in area for my dogs to be able to go outside and not be concerned about them wandering off. “

„We came to Springfield for a wedding and decided to try a VRBO instead of a hotel and my, we are so glad we did. This property was immaculate. The unit looks to be brand new and absolutely spotless. I wish every place was this beatiful and clean. We loved sitting outside at the fire pit and watching a storm roll in. It was just so peaceful. The mattress was the best I've ever slept on. "The hotel is located on a busy street across from Bass Pro. Which if you are looking to do some shopping and go to the aquarium it is perfectly situated. We did get the feeling that the hotel was a bit older, more than likely the first of this chain. We stayed two nights which was ok. "
