„Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs. “

„The property was exactly as in the pictures. The yard was spacious and the property host had clear instructions for both check-in and check-out. We stayed with a family of 5 and two dogs. It was a comfortable and quiet stay. I would absolutely chose this property again. “

„ Perfect place for my daughter sleepover birthday. The pictures online didn't do any justice. The home was peaceful, and location was close to the park, and stores. Communication was wonderful between me and the host. Check in and check out was simple and easy. Will definitely be back“

„Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different ...

„Great spot if you're visiting the area and want to be a little outside of the city but still close by. In the summer, it gets a bit hot upstairs and the doors to those rooms are very narrow, but otherwise a great and comfy house! “

„The house is a three bedroom fully finished home. Two bedrooms upstairs, and a spacious primary suite at the bottom level with a half bath (sink toilet no shower). Main bathroom is upstairs. Backyard is great for kids, it has a playground and corn hole. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen sink was difficult to set to cold, and I love to drink ice cold water. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends in the area, 9/10 would stay again “

„Very quiet, although we were initially and then sporadically met with the sound of gunshots during our stay. But the house was well sound proofed, so we weren't bothered while we were inside. The porch was fantastic, and the lake was great for swimming. “

„Great spot one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. 20 minutes from Richmond great restaurants in the area. Super clean right near the river James. If we ever go back to that area again, I will definitely look to stay at this house.“
