„The Stone Maiden inn made me consider why I ever stay at 'chain' accommodations.Well-located, easily walkable to the river, restaurants, shops, and theatre. Quiet. Clean. Our host was lovely. Parking and access was easy. Room was exceptionally clean. Lovely bedding. Coffee/Tea station, nice yard and garden. I appreciated the antiques. It wasn't kitch Victorian, it was a beautifully cared for Victorian home with the quirks.I would stay there again, and recommend it to anyone.“

Also, though I don't watch much TV, I was surprised that there was no Tv, nor was there a bed side clock. I feel badly saying so, but the very thick Chinese accent was hard to understand. „We enjoyed our stay at the loft apartment thoroughly. There were six adults staying, in three bedrooms with two en suite bathrooms and one detached. The apartment is a renovated top floor, with quirky details, marvellous natural light from skylights, and lots of open shared living space. We were joined one afternoon by the rest of our family, including a toddler, and had lots of room for all. Response to any questions was immediate and helpful. Our family will definitely look to return.“
