„We enjoyed this oasis of quiet and stillness more than anticipated. Josh had very welcoming and it was easy to slip into a few days vacation at Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Escaping humidity and the mundane-ness of hotel stays was our goal, but we didn’t appreciate how the lodge helps you to stop and slow down. We used the kayaks, kitchen facilities and outdoor areas which were well maintained. Josh and Bianca were great hosts and we recommend a visit!“

„Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! Thank you, Catherine for the lovely gift bag full of Maine goodies, and the special touches throughout the home. “

„This is a lovely, roomy unit with great views over Johnson Bay. Bed and couch were comfortable and the kitchen well laid out for preparing meals. I was attending Summerkeys for a week so made most breakfasts and lunches as well as some dinners.Felicia responded quickly and appropriately to a minor issue and also lifted down the toaster which I, as someone who is vertically challenged, couldn’t reach!“

„Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. “

„Wonderfully relaxing location and setting. We stayed there for a couple of days last year and loved it so much we booked it for a whole week this year. Wonderful hosts, great communication, everything you need in a rural setting “

"Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser. Gemeinschaftsküche kann genutzt werden und auch Aufenthaltsbereich vorhanden. Im Zimmer ist ein Kühlschrank und separater Sitzbereich mit Sesseln und Blick aufs Wasser. Sehr ruhig und relaxing. Kein Fernseher im Zimmer. Im angrenzenden Restaurant kann man gut regionale Küche essen, Lobster sehr empfehlenswert."

"Wunderschön gelegen mit Blick nach Kanada. Wir hatten eine schöne Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind geräumig jedoch nicht mehr die jüngsten aber sauber. Tolles altes Haupthaus. Wenn man ruhe sucht, ist man hier sicher Richtig um die schöne Natur zu erkunden. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich."
