„Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.“

„The cottage was perfect for our quick getaway. Close to Shenandoah Valley National Park and the caverns. Love the porches and views. The space felt bigger than the photos even show! All the amenities we needed were available and the space was very comfortable. Highly recommend!“

„The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning ...

„The house was charming inside and out. Our dogs enjoyed having lots of places to run. We made a quick trip for groceries the day we arrived and then a trip into Luray and stopped for some ice cream (delicious). The house was spacious with lots of room to just 'be'. “

„We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend and it was great. Nice private and quiet. Loved the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen was nice to have. You do have to bring your own towels, sheets , and bath soaps which they do tell you ahead of time. The location was perfect for the National park and caverns. River outfitters for tubing and kayaking was a few minutes away. Definitely recommend this cabin! “

„We recently spent six days on this property. Chris was very attentive and answered any and all of our questions promptly. If you are looking for a getaway, this is a wonderful property. Enough to keep a family or group busy for a long time. We enjoyed using the pool table, the hot tub, ping pong table, and even the corn hole.
