„As soon as we walked into the lodge we knew we were in for a wonderful weekend. The place was gorgeous and spotless! The couch and beds were super comfy. The fire pit was perfect and we enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around porch. The lake was very quiet. Cell service and WiFi were great. We stayed here for CMU parents weekend and the location to Mount Pleasant was convenient. The basement space with a pull out couch was perfect for our daughter to come stay for a night. „Angie did a great job with answering any questions I had before and during my stay. The campground was fun to walk around and explore. There is access to a nice paved trail for biking or walking, and the kayaking was amazing. The town of Big Rapids was just a short drive with a super cute little downtown area. I had the best coffee ever at Belle's Coffeehouse. The Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University is a must see. My only complaint would be that the hot water in the shower barely lasted ...
