„We enjoyed our time in the area and having this place to stay every night after our activities was wonderful. Glad I drove my truck with 4WD as the snow on the steep driveway wouldn’t have been manageable otherwise. The area is stunning and we enjoyed our visit very much.“

„This was a perfect stay for a nice weekend getaway. Great communication with the owners and detailed instructions for checkin. The place is super cozy and the bed is very comfortable. Loved the location too! Had a pleasant walk into town for breakfast. Definitely would book this again:-)“

„We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two. “

„We really enjoyed our stay at Glenbrook. The house was perfect for us. Clean and spacious. The hosts were such a nice family and we will definitely be back.“

„Having a private dock was great but this dock was incredible. The house was very well laid out, well stocked, and the owners labeled mostly everything so that it was easy to find. The stairs where challenging (one of the guests counted 50 steps to the main entry) but the view and serenity made it worth it. Several more steps down to the dock but, again, worth it (just be prepared and have your fitness watch ready). Having access to the two car garage was also a plus.“

„Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!“

„The roundhouse retreat was perfect for getting our extended family together. Hosts were communicative and friendly and the views were amazing. We'd definitely do it all over again. “

„The property is beautiful and the house was perfect for our family stay. The house is spacious and well equipped, the grounds are well kept and the view is spectacular. We loved gazing out at the lake. There are plenty of things to do. The kids enjoyed fishing off the pier and kayaking in the lake. The Foosball table saw plenty of action as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting again in the future. “

„This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. “

„This was our second time staying at the Creekside Cottage. It is a cozy place, well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, close to downtown Nevada City and walking trails. Great for couples who want privacy and quiet.“

„We had a wonderful time at this property! It was a bit pricier after taxes and fees than what we normal go for when we rent a home but it was so worth it for the pool and the hot tub. The yard space is so relaxing and private. The location is perfect, super close to town but just far enough down the road to feel really quiet. The home was very clean, awesome shower in the master and the beds are so comfortable! Cute vintage details but very modern amenities and high quality furniture.The loft ...

„We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and charming. The house is a very short walk through a pleasant neighborhood down the hill to Nevada City restaurants and shopping. We can highly recommend this beautiful home for visiting Grass Valley or Nevada City.“

„This was the perfect Donner Lake house! the dock was great for fishing and launching paddle boards. Couldn't be beat! Would 100% stay here again. “

„Our 3-generation family had a relaxing stay surrounded by beauty. As other reviews have stated, the home is nestled among trees with the windows and deck facing the creek. Our two toddlers enjoyed the deck along with the adults, and our dogs loved running freely when we walked to the creek. The kitchen had ample cookware, plates, and glasses. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful scenery, lovely home, close to downtown ... our family had a fantastic stay.“

"Schöne Unterkunft im Wald, Zimmer wie auf den Bildern, großes Bad, Blick in den Wald, schönes Grundstück. Besonders gutes Frühstück, dass frisch zubereitet wurde. Das Beste, dass wir in den USA hatten. Leider haben wir keinen Bär gesichtet. Selbst-Check in ist auch zu späteren Uhrzeit möglich"
