„A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. „The house was spotless and in the perfect location. The little extras were appreciated. The beds were super comfy and plenty of hot water and pressure in the showers. The Bali style hut down by the water was great for relaxing and star gazing at night. The little ones brought their bikes and had daily bike rides around the area. If you bring your own boat you can enjoy the river. Highly recommend this property.Good base to explore the area.“

„We really enjoyed our three days in Hideaway Tom's. The property was extremely clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the bed very comfortable. Best of all, the little jetty and stunning view over Mundoo Channel. Fishing wasn't successful but enjoyable nevertheless!“

„Easy to enjoy. Staying in a renovated 160 year old building was great. The modern comforts of heating and cooling ensured a great stay. Help was close at hand but not in the way. Could not fault this place. The connection with history was still there in pictures and stories. Looking forward to June 2025 when this BnB features on television.“

„ A lovely cottage with so much style and history. Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. I enjoyed a hot chocolate at Karkoo and great meal at the Oakbank hotel all within walking distance. Definitely recommend“
