„First time to this area. Many hotels and cabins avaliable. This is the only one actually on the water. It's essentially a house boat so small like an RV. But very clean, nicely decorated and fully equipped. Can fish off the back deck. Also well located to explore the area. Would stay again. “

„This is an absolutely immaculate one bedroom apartment in what I can only describe as an idyllic setting, surrounded by nothing but tall trees and water. This is one where the pictures truly don't do the property justice. It's like the owners sat down and made a list of anything someone could want in a little lakeside hideaway then just provided all of it, from Keurig cups to kayaks. „The cabin was perfect for a pair of bass fishermen. Close to downtown Guntersville, easy access to boat ramps, and space for your boat with power hookup. There’s room to hangout inside, on the covered porch, or around the fire pit. Mary was awesome. “

„This was the second time my 3 siblings and spouses have stayed here. It is perfect for a quiet and relaxing long weekend. Colleen is wonderful to work with and the house is VERY clean. It may be quiet but the house supplies lots of games and water access when summer time. I highly recommend staying in Secret Slough! “

„This place was great on the lake easy check in and out, great local food 45 min to Cullman AL, for Rock the South, plenty of parking, no issues at all “

„House was excellent! Kids loved the upstairs bunk beds and the adults loved the separate bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone as well. The deck upstairs and the screened porch was also pleasant at night. Short walk to the dock and not a lot of traffic on the water makes it really nice. 10/10 would recommend. “

„This property was clean and nicely appointed. The Deck and steps needed sweeping, but can understand with all the trees around. The weather didn't cooperate, but we had plenty of indoor activities. All in all, a nice family get-together.“

"Unfortunately, during my visit there was construction work going on in the entire hallway and the workers left a lot of dirt in the hallway. Instructions for better tidying up would be appropriate. In my room the suction in the bathroom was very loud. In addition, the outside windows were very dirty, which wasn't a pretty sight. Otherwise nice hotel with very friendly staff. Very good location."
