„This was the perfect place for 5 sisters to spend a weekend together. The kitchen was well stocked, the view of the lake was beautiful. Great place to relax. Worth a return trip, especially in the warmer weather to enjoy the deck and other outside activities. “

„Not knowing there was No heat would have been nice. We found space heaters, but it took a bit to heat the house up.After coming in off of a very chilly motorcycle ride, it was hard to know if space heaters were the only option.There was no guidebook so we were unsure of the expectations/requirements for heating the place.Overall, place was as advertised but be misunderstood that the couch was not a pull out bed. We made it work.“

„This rental was the perfect place to getaway and enjoy the beautiful scenery with all the comforts. We were situated in the woods overlooking a beautiful landscape with all the amenities of home. The bed was super comfortable, shower was great, the fire pit and hot tub were amazing! Absolutely loved our stay and already booked a weekend for next year. This is a must rental for a weekend away to relax! “

„The house and property were a perfect combination of relaxing and beauty. We walked the trails, our dog enjoyed the open field and our group had a marvelous stay. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet away from the city this property is great. It does need some outside sprucing up and some deep cleaning however, it did not affect our stay.“

„If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax“

„Another wonderful stay at the Honey Barn! This is our 3rd time staying here & we keep coming back because it’s perfect. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous location, and amazing trout fishing everywhere around. Always a great experience at the Honey Barn! “

„Had a nice relaxing weekend in nature. The property overlooks a bubbling stream so the scenery was amazing!My only downside was that I had hoped it was a bit more remote/private, but there are other cabins not far away (maybe 200-ish feet?) Not a biggie if you don't mind the company though. :)Regardless; wonderful stay! Host made things simple/left instruction that were clear/easy to follow. „Very nicely decorated log cabin/house complete with everything needed for an enjoyable stay - even had doggie dishes for our pup. Blinking lights around the pines out on the deck and driveway were a great touch. Great setting in the pines, next to the river. Wished there had been steps down to the river, even rustic ones (instead of the steep bank/slide) but I'm sure there was a reason why not. „My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay! Sleeping under the stars and watching the sunrise was amazing! We will definitely be booking again in the future 💜“

„We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!“

„The place was clean with comfortable furniture. Lots of space to spread out and add air mattresses if needed.“

„The family enjoyed our quick one-night stay at this property. The house was spacious and bedrooms accommodated our big family. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the sand and water from sun up to sun down along with the gaming room. The location is in great proximity to all of our favorite places (castle rock lake, dirty turtle, shipwreck, and kozys). Thanks for a nice time! “
