„It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.“

„We planned a quick trip to Busch Gardens and I couldn’t find any great hotels so I decided to check out VRBO for fun. This house was affordable and had such a beautiful view AND they allowed dogs! A plus all around. We got to see Navy ships, Coast Guard water drills, helicopters as well as Ospreys and Bald Eagles during our short time there. The inside reminded me of my grandma’s house, cozy and laid back. We will definitely stay here again in the future.“

„What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. “

„We took a moms' relaxing getaway at this property this week. The property was clean, pretty, and very well kept with modern designs and appliances. We were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view from bedrooms, living room and the kitchen during our stay. The house is perfectly located in the quiet neighborhood within a 20-30 min driving distance from a variety of attractions to check out - shopping, museums, and more. We will likely come back to this property again. :) “

„From start to finish, Cheri made this an easy process. She is very helpful and responds quickly. What you see is what you get. The listing is 100% accurate. The cottage is quaint and cozy. Cheri is very organized and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed catching crabs, fishing from the beach, kayaking and mastering the paddle board. We took a charter out on the Chesapeake bay to catch Spanish Mackerel. The neighbor to the left was outside once and was very friendly. ...
