„Hi we only had one night here sadly. I’m from Christchurch and was with Wellington family. We had never ventured here before and wow the view is unmatched. Our favourite moments were wandering the nearby track to the lighthouse at sunset and enjoying breakfast on the deck (which is right in the shore) as the sun streamed in. Owner was very helpful and was open to hearing our suggestions on some tweaks. Comfortable beds and couch with a well supplied kitchen.“

„Everything we needed for an awesome 2 nighs“

„The house was exactly as described. The set up was very good, bedrooms had space and were comfortable.The living area was spacious.Appliances were adequate.The deck area was good.The weather was excellent in general.Two suggestions:-Firstly would be a heat pump for the house which could obviously be used for a/c when needed.The second is while the beach is very close the way down is quite difficult for an older person. “

„Lovely large house in nice rural setting. Good heating ensured it was warm. Kitchen very well supplied with utensils etc. Very clean. Only negative feedback relates to the quality and supply of the linen we paid extra for. We had to make the beds, and linen was not overly good quality and bit limited (1towel each & no flannels). Also the “5th bedroom” is bit misleading as is a pull out couch in the kitchen. Fine for family but not appropriate for our arrangement where separate bedrooms were ...

„We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown! ...

„We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer. The house is gorgeous, new and beautifully styled (we all admired the colour scheme) with lovely touches like blankets for sitting outside while we watched the sun rise. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable, the fireplace a lovely spot to unwind in front of and the view absolutely stunning. Thank you Rhonda, it was the perfect place for a last girls' weekend away.“

„This is a beautiful home which unfortunately is not being as well maintained as it should be. In spite of that we had a lovely time and enjoyed the peace and serenity. The grounds are lovely and the pool looked great. Just a shame the weather wasn’t better for us to enjoy. This would be an ideal place to host a family get together with plenty of room for the grandkids too. Definitely good value for money.“
