„We stayed 8 days and will definitely return. Beautiful pool, house, property, lagoon for swimming, and surrounded by natural beauty. We met the owners twice and they were very friendly. They even had an anniversary cake delivered for my wife’s sister’s anniversary mid week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We must have spent 3 hours EVERY day in that pool :-) Absolutely wonderful experience!“

The path to access the property is a bit difficult, but once there, we were fine except for the heat, as the property doesn't have air conditioning. The staff is wonderful, starting with Mirian, my host, who provided us with everything we needed via the website and phone, and with great kindness. Oscar and Rosa, who served us at the property with great kindness and professionalism, were also wonderful. The view of the lagoon is wonderful. ...

„Laguna de Apoyo is truly a paradise location. Birds and sometimes monkeys and iguanas coming close.The next door hotel is not functioning, so the place is quite calm.Swimming in the Laguna is a incredible treat!Unfortunately 'La Giralda' really needs investment and renovation.The air conditioning is so noisy that it is impossible to use. We had to do with the old clicking ceilings fans.Rudimentary kitchen.Don't expect to use the kayaks, the owner forgets to say that the seats are broken.Also, it ...

„I lived here for 2 months while volunteering in Granada. It definitely fit my needs - comfortable self contained unit with kitchen, not directly in tourist zone, 10-15 min walk to restaurants, grocery stores & market, pool, reliable wifi, good fans, quiet location. „Do not stay at this hotel. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation, but they let me in anyway. The room they gave me had ants crawling all over the bed. They made a half-hearted attempt to spray the floor, but they ran out of bug spray. I told them I would make it work because it was almost midnight and I had just arrived from the US. "Had to stay here due to an injury and was glad to be able to have an accessible room and a wheelchair. Comfy bed, great breakfast. Free coffee in the lobby. Amazing food court right next to the hotel was concenient as there is no food other than breakfast in the hotel. Hotel and the rooms are a bit dated and could use an upgrade and replacement of the carpet. "

"Der Mann an der Rezeption war extrem unhöflich und wollte mir nucht das gebuchte Zimmer mit 2 getrennten Betten geben, ich brauchte dafür einige Zeit ihn zu überzeugen. Die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienungen ist nicht immer gegeben. Die Musik am Pool ist extrem laut, an relaxen und ausruhen ist da nicht zu denken. Der Speisesaal ist sehr kalt. Das Frühstücksbuffet läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Gut ist die Nähe zum Airport ( genau gegenüber) der Shuttlebus zum Airport, da dort gerade Erdbewegungen im Gange sind."
