„The whole property is gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. It was very clean and comfortable from the welcoming gifts in EVERY room to the kitchen loaded with what ever utensil you could possibly need. The close proximity of a store and the ample places to put things. Every night there was a movie in the theatre with popcorn. The billiards room with space to play and the parlor for quiet talks. We could not have been more pleased. “

„Very convenient location, close to Rock House and Devil Anse systems. We had a power outage our first night and Gary stopped in to check that we were okay and see if we needed more batteries for the provided lanterns. Just a note, when the power is out, the wifi obviously goes, too, and cell service though both Verizon and AT&T is nonexistent until you get closer to the gas station on 44 and 52. „If you are there for trail riding, this location is perfect! It is also very close to gas stations, fast food places and stores. Cabin was very clean and it was so nice to have two bathrooms. We used the grill and gas fire pit which was a great addition to the cabin. Plenty of parking. Communication with the owner was great! I would definitely stay here again! “

„The cabin and property were excellent. We enjoyed the porch and set up croquet on the yard. Beds were great. Five grandchildren stayed in the upstairs bedroom with plenty of room. Having their own private deck tickled them. The Twister game at the cabin was a huge hit. “

„Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. I couldn't have found a better place to stay nor a better host. I certainly hope if I ever go to the area again this place is available. The home ...

„We stayed here while riding the Hatfield and McCoy trails, and it was absolutely perfect! The place was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone in our group to relax after a long day of riding. It was exactly what we needed—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but work called us back. Highly recommend for anyone planning a trail trip in West Virginia!We will be back to stay again!“
