Garden was huge and being able to get to the beach was an added bonus, if a little further away than the 5 minutes stated.Would definitely recommend for large families wanting a homely place to get-together.Garde “

„Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. “

„We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .“

„The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. The only thing we found that there was not any oven trays for cooking but there was an oven. Not a dealbreaker at all and we just used foil that was provided. Just a point for the future! "Former Officer's Club now a big hotel. Nice single room with a large bathroom. I was allowed to take my bicycle to the room, which on a tour is quite practical. Nice breakfast also."

"Das Seven Hotel und sein Personal waren wirklich super!!! Das Zimmer hatte einen fantastischen Meerblick. Alles war sauber. Das Zimmer wurde täglich aufgeräumt und die Handtücher erneuert. Auch die Bar und die Terrasse hat uns gut gefallen. Leider ist die Umgebung des Hotels, insbesondere die Innenstadt von Southend on Sea ziemlich ungepflegt und in die Jahre gekommen. "
