„We had a lovely visit to Arcadia Valley. I brought a friend who had never been there and we enjoyed all of the sites and visited with family. The cabin was perfect. We counted 29 species of birds from the front porch and watched the lightning beetles in the field across the road. It was magical. “

„We loved a lot of things about this house. The backyard is beautiful. We enjoyed the firepit and gazebo every night. We loved that the house is nice and spacious. There is enough room for everyone with 8 beds. Kids enjoyed the bunkbeds. The kitchen is nice and spacious and has a big countertop for cooking your own meals which we did all the days we were there. „My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! “

„The location of the cabin was fantastic! It’s close to some great hiking and the privacy, peace, and quiet were phenomenal. It was so nice sitting on the deck, listening to the birds—very zen. Also loved watching the turtles on the property; had to herd them off the road on our return to the cabin one time, lol! Really good restaurants nearby where you definitely get a great meal for your dollar. The cabin was clean and the grill was the best one we’ve ever used at any house we’ve rented—clean ...

„Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!“

„We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!“

„This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and just enjoy nature and the company of the people you are traveling with. Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away. Along with many wineries.“

„Was a fantastic place to stay, any questions were answered quickly. Very clean, has everything you need for a weekend, you really only need to pack your clothes and food. We had a issue with the door code on the second day and someone was there to help us within 5 minutes of the call and there was nothing wrong with the door, it was operator error!!!“

„Pictures on line do not do the cabin justice. It is way nicer in person. View to the river is incredible. We highly recommend renting. I know we will be back. Jeff is a great host who provides any and all information you request. Last minute perfect getaway for Thanksgiving!“
