„Some language barrier but the hotel clerk was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me make my stay comfortable. Comfortable seating area in the lobby and decent food at the restaurant. Only feedback is implementing a “do not disturb” sign as they do regular cleanings and ring the doorbell quite frequently but overall would recommend this hotel. Walking distance to a lot of shops, grocery stores and restaurants.“

„L'appartement était propre. Le seul hic, c'est la cuisine. Il faut toujours s'adresser à la réception pour que la poubelle soit vidée tous les jours. Les casseroles ne sont pas appropriées. Il n'y a aucune petite casserole pour se faire à manger. Ce n'est pas approprié de faire à manger à une ou 2 personnes dans des casseroles destinées à une famille nombreuse. Ce serait bien si dans l'appartement il y avait au moins 3 à 4 assiettes avec des ustensiles. La coutellerie est impécable. ...

„The kitchen is fully furnished. The house is clean. Hot water was available. We arrived a little before noon and didn't get to really sleep in as we had to leave at midnight to take our flight. It is a nice place. We had some friends come over for the afternoon. There is a pizza place just one building away.“

Manager was very responsive as the main bedroom A/C didn’t work for three days, and the refrigerator needed to be replaced; balcony was dirty and was never swept; bathrooms only came with one towel each, and the worst, was the internet. No matter the time of day, it was mostly non-existent. I suggest 2-3 extra towels for unit, and, as they only came to clean once in 11 days, an extra set of sheets for the beds. "Renovation is urgently required. No towels, you have to ask seemingly every day for towels. No idea why it is like that. Prices are European, standard is very low, rices are not justified. Breakfast is simple, price for this offer far too high. Prostitutes at the bar in the evening who offer their services are accepted."

"as the N° 1 address in Yaounde rather OK as there is just no competition. Needs urgently renovation of (some? all? ) rooms which have the typical Hilton standard of 25 years ago. No all items of Room Service are available. To summarize, if you need to be in Yaound and can afford it, the Hilton is the best choice."
