„This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. „This area of Chicago is SOOOOO nice! Gorgeous homes, lovely biking infrastructure. This place was great! I was on a month long rock climbing road trip so an affordable (but super nice) stay in Chicago for me to do laundry and shower was super needed!“

„The Mill Creek Hotel is not your run of the mill (pun intended :) ) hotel. The lobby has a lot of personal and hometown stuff in it that is very welcoming. Rooms are huge and fantastic! The room decorations were a bit odd for my taste, plastic flowers in the kitchen and all the fake roses in the bedroom... it was a little over the top. „Great experience overall. Check-in was easy and the unit was very well kept. Very happy that we were so close to so much public transportation. It is a little noisy for those who aren’t used to hearing the L train nearby. Parking is hard to find, but there is paid parking nearby and easy to access public transit. If you plan on parking your car for the full time you’re there.“

The location is ideal: it's a 5 minute walk to a park and the edge of the lake and a 15 minute walk to the main downtown area. „This is a great location for families with young children, with parks, other outdoor activities, and for getting to downtown. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with ample seating for meals. The property manager was very responsive to any issues that needed attention during our stay. It was easy to find street parking with the parking passes provided.
