„The property is beautiful. The space in the house is good. But the river access is top notch, every year we go to a different spot on a river(frio,nueces, Guadeloupe..ect). This is by far the best river stay for us. I dont see a need for us to look somewhere else next year.. “

Our adventures included exploring caverns, hiking at Garner State Park, fishing, kayaking, catching minnows and tadpoles, skipping rocks on the water, playing football and baseball, Twister, and having a campfire with s’mores. The best part is all the memories we made. 🩵“

„It was very nice to unplug and enjoy being a family, communication was perfect with owners and we had everything we needed. „the pictures only hint at the size and comfort of this property. The entertainment area under the house has everything you need to entertain or just enjoy the outdoors. Would have loved to stay longer. Everything looks new and functioned perfectly! Can't wait to come back. Bird lovers will enjoy the symphony of bird calls and sounds in the morning. River had enough water to wade in the shallows or float in deeper pools.“

„My husband and 2 sons loved the river, fishing and campnfires. They had an awesome time. Only issue was the refrigerator. It needed to be fixed as we had to store everything in the freezer bc it wasnt cold and had to throw away stuff that went bad. Other then that it was great. “

„It was very peaceful and enjoyable. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. One family of 4 people and one small dog and another family of 4. The home sits on 25 acres of west Texas range land which was great for hiking. We recommend the veiw from “The Platform”.“

„We stayed 3 nights in this property. The facility lives up to its advertising. It is spacious. He wa , clean, well-appointed and conveniently located in relation to attractions from Del Rio to Kickapoo Caverns, Seminole Canyon, Devil’s River and Lake Amistad. I also have to give high marks to the host. He was very friendly, responsive and helpful. We will return to this Texas region and will happily book this space again. “

The small cabin was perfect for the three of us, with a very well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom. „No superlatives can adequately describe the experience of staying at Elephant Mountain Ranch. The setting is idyllic. The hosts are charming, welcoming, and informative. Our group was all adults, but we all agreed this would've been over-the-top fun to enjoy as a child. Our primary activities were hiking, birding, floating on the pristine Nueces River, and cooking wonderful meals from the bounty we gathered at the Pearl Farmers Market in San Antonio before we headed to the Hill Country. „House was nice easy to locate in a quiet area. The only issue was the bedding was washed in heavly scented detergent which was an issue gor my Aunt with asthma. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer so we could wash them again with unscented detergent. The grill was nice to have especially since there is no close restaurants. “
